Indoor pollutants assessment
Demolition and rehabilitation:
The demolition and the renovation of buildings requires a systematic assessment of building material pollutants.
The goal of the construction and building material investigation is to categorize the various types of construction waste according to its hazardous or recycling potential.
Demolition plans and realistic cost calculations are created based on the results and the planning of the project is optimized. Unnecessary additional costs and subsequent contracts can already be avoided in the planning phase.
The necessary disposal / recycling logistics are planned according to legal requirements and included in the tender documents. This also includes acquiring permissions and planning certain works taking health and safety issues into consideration. The investigative duty of the contractor is fulfilled.
The process can be applied to projects ranging from simple apartment buildings to military bases, hospitals, office complexes, factories as well as oil refineries and waste-fuelled power stations.
Interior pollutants hazards:
Health dangers at the workplace or in residential buildings where volatile pollutants such as formaldehyde or PCBs or even asbestos fibres can escape into the air are collected and evaluated. Based on these results, any necessary remediation measures can be planned.
