Rastede Branch

The Rastede branch of INTERGEO Augsburg GmbH was founded in Ammerland County in north-western Germany in 2005.

Our branch employs 8 geologists, engineers and technicians who have up to 20 years of professional experience and works in the following areas: Investigation and remediation of contaminated sites, construction site investigation, subsoil property investigation and building demolition. Our team is supported by one team assistant (CAD graphics operator), two freelance geologists, one freelance biologist and one freelance building engineer for handling peak order periods and special requests regarding remediation technology and subsoil property investigation. We ensure that our employees regularly participate in advanced training seminars to keep their professional knowledge at the latest state of knowledge.

Our main focus is:

- Project management for contaminated site investigation and remediation, subsoil property investigation and building demolition
- Planning and executing historical investigations, initial site investigations and remedial investigations
- Planning and executing subsoil property investigations and the preparation of foundation recommendations
- Planning and performance of structural pollutant surveys for selective demolition / restoration
- Advocating our client’s interests to authorities, businesses and private individuals, providing support during civil disputes
- Professional sampling according to current regulations for the groundwater, soil, subsurface air and building pollutants
- Percussion window samplings with diameters of 36 to 80 mm
- Performance of groundwater soundings for horizontally parallel sampling of soil and groundwater
- Construction of groundwater monitoring wells in all common diameters and materials
- Planning and performance of groundwater pump testings and soil vapour extraction tests
- Performance of drop penetration testing with light, medium and heavy driving rods
- Performance of dynamic and static load bearing tests
- Preparation of occupational safety measures and health and safety plans according to BGR 128 and the Federal Construction Site Ordinance
