The Greek company of INTERGEO Ltd company was established in Greece in 1991 in Thessaloniki, as a subsidiary company of INTERGEO Salzburg, aiming to provide the same services as the parent company and to transfer experience and know-how in Greece on the fields of environmental services and engineering geology.

INTERGEO in Greece has been engaged in many projects all over the country and in Cyprus as well. For the proper execution of all these projects an INTERGEO branch office has been introduced in Athens, and local company representatives have been employed in Mitilini and Hania - Crete.

INTERGEO Hellas Ltd is engaged in hundreds of projects in all over Greece and Cyprus and has successfully performed more than 1200 investigation projects and completed more than 150 soil and groundwater remediation projects. Furthermore, INTERGEO Hellas has managed successfully till today more than 7.000 tons of hazardous waste and removed totally around 50.000 m2 of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM). INTERGEO Hellas has a broad range of clients in the private and in the public sectors. The largest clients are the oil industry, chemical industry, electrical power production companies, constructing companies, insurance companies, mining industry, land developers and airports.

The employee team of INTERGEO Hellas includes totally 28 scientific personnel (chemists, environmental engineers, hydrogeologists, geologists, mechanical engineers, civil engineers, chemical engineers, lowers) and over 20 employees as working and technical personnel.

• Environmental Risk Assessment in potential contaminated Sites (INTERGEO Hellas has completed an ERA project for SHELL Hellas that has been published a Best Practice ERA example in the Environmental SHELL Guidelines – Year)
