Along with monthly internal controls, oil separators are required to be externally inspected once a year to show that the limiting values are being held to.

Precipitated water from traffic and parking areas must pass through oil separators and drainage shafts before being leached into the ground to avoid contaminating the soil with oils or fuels. We test the functionality of oil separators and drainage shafts and also take water samples to be analysed on our laboratory.

The analysis reports function as internal proof of evidence or can be sent to the local authorities upon request.
