The remediation of a heavily contaminated 26 hectare former vehicle assembly site close to Heathrow Airport. Groundwater Remediation:
The amount of l/s that was remediated was adjusted to the progress of the soil remediation.
7.000m³ of groundwater skimmed to remove free-floating product. 150.000m³ of TPH-contaminated groundwater was pumped and cleaned.196.000 m³ of groundwater was processed by air stripping and activated carbon filters to remove volatile organic compounds.
