Soil and Groundwater Investigation and Remediation

Intergeo has performed over 10.000 soil and groundwater investigations in Europe and overseas since being founded in Salzburg in 1983. We provide a single source for all services – from the initial investigation to the detailed remediation action plan.

OUR CHALLENGE

INTERGEO solves complex site contamination challenges in all regions of the world. Our experience covers a broad field of contaminants and environmental settings. We usually work with diverse stakeholder groups by bringing together the best resources. INTERGEO experts critically assess the nature and extent of contamination, assess risks to identify receptors and safe exposure levels, and prepare remediation action plans (RAP) that address problems posed by contaminants.

OUR APPROACH

INTERGEO’s approach to site renovation and reuse adopts a “best technology for site” approach based on project factors including timing, cost, and proven performance. We integrate key remedial design elements with future site redevelopment plans. We apply innovative thinking to determine reasonable cleanup levels that are safe for human and ecological receptors bringing risks to an acceptable level. We bring a range of proven in-house developments to projects. We have worked on thousands of sites throughout Europe and are familiar with local issues and regulations governing the site cleanup process. Our knowledge-sharing network around the globe assists us in providing clients with emerging regulatory policies and technology-based solutions.
