Soil and groundwater contamination in the a used oil tank room in the cellar of a residential house (older contamination), Dimension: ca. 300 m²

Remediation measures using Ex-Situ measures (Partial excavation with water retention in the cellar) and In-Situ measures (Pump & Treat Remediation container with soil washing facilities) using 6 groundwater remediation wells (5 thereof in the cellar) with oil extract units, 5 groundwater monitoring wells as well as hydraulic soil washing;

After being cleaned by passing through the sand activated-carbon filter, the water and the soil-washing water are heated with the boiler and infiltrated into the ground above the contamination. In a later stage of the remediation “Biodiversal” (accepted by the authorities) will also be added.
